This home was originally designed in the 1950s as a Prairie Style home in keeping with neighborhood Frank Lloyd Wright-designed homes on the street.  Owner preferences overrode the original design, making it more like a cross of Prairie and Foursquare.  The current generation of owners wished to improve the looks, livability, and thermal comfort of the home, and the result is an extensive remodeling of the entire exterior and interior.  Some steps yet remain:  FLW’s signature wide roof overhangs need restructure and the garage needs updating, and those tasks will be undertaken during the next stage.
